Falling a bit behind my goal for March as I found it difficult to play while I was playing the Sunday Millions Special. Had a deep run there, but a huge brain fart lead to my demise. Finished 2177/33k runners for $540.
After a rough start to March and being down 15BI (minor swing), I have had a few great sessions to bring my stats up.

Love the Variance
Found myself once again on the happy side of variance.
A quick session on Friday morning produced some awesome results and returned my overall ROI in 45 mans back to the approx 20% where I have been residing.
I am currently on the lookout for a 180 man coach to make improvements there.

Time to March On
Well March has started the way February ended .... on a downswing.
I am keeping my goal at 120 played for March and have started adding in $2.50 - 180 man turbos.
My first 2 session for the month ended in a loss of $120 with only 2 small min cashes along the way. Hope the rungood comes soon.

February started off on a high note but ended with a free fall.
Even though I essentially missed almost 10 days of play due to sickness, I still managed 100 games. I think I pushed a bit too hard to make 100 and played when I was not really feeling up to it.

Been Feeling like Crap
Only 3 tabled a 5 game session. Man it's a good thing I am sick, cause running 3 tables would make me want to slit my wrists.
Anyways, I managed to finish up $46 (1 win of the 5) for a 108% ROI

Short Sunday Session
Forgot my last session update:
Spent some time reviewing my hands from Friday afternoon and while I saw some hands I should have played differently, it was mainly variance.
Played only one short session on Sunday. Was really hoping for more, but poor planning on my part for Saturday screwed up my Sunday plans
Really frustrating start to my Sunday session, when I busted 3 of my 1st tournaments within in under 10 minutes.
One of them I admit I played horribly. I have to remember not to "chase" with weak hands.

February started of good (sort of)
Played a 20 game session this morning for a nice profit including my 1st win at the $15 45 man turbos.
The afternoon session was a whole other story. Variance (or at least I hope so) raised it's ugly head. 15 game session that gave back almost all my profit from the morning session. At least I finished the day on the plus side.
So far for Feb:
Games Played: 35 <- all today
Remaining Games: 95
Hrs played: 4.25
ABI: $8.80
Profit: $18.00
ROI: 5%

Well January has come and gone
While I did not get the volume in that I had wanted, I did finish up the month with a profit and a decent ROI.
Spent about 20hrs this month reviewing my games and all in all, I am quite satisfied with my progress.
Given that I can complete a 20 game session in 3hrs and a 30 game session in 4hrs, my goal for Feb will be 120 games (16-18 hrs).
May the #rungood commence.

And back to the happy side of variance
After 2 weeks off to study my game (a few leaks to plug re light shoves), I had a 20 game session today. The biggest issue that I found hard to handle, was when I hit 4 final tables at once. Guess it's something I can get used to.

I don't like this side of variance
Played a 30 game session. It was a mix of 45 and 180 man turbos. Either nothing held or I ran big hands into bigger hands.
Highlights:
Ran JJ into AA
AA gets run over by KJ
KK < QQ
Had to fold AA on a KJQ flop, when it went c-bet/raise/reraise/me crying like a little girl.
On to the next set. I've got to break out of this soon.
Stats so far for January
Games Played: 54
Games Remaining: 146
Avg BI: 6.57
ROI: -52%

Platinum Star January Goal
My goal for January is a simple one.
Play 200 games with an average buy-in of $9.00.
That's a 3:1 mix of $7.00 and $15.00

Quest for Platinum Star
In 2011, I got much better at playing the 45 mans up to $7 and multitabling them. In order to get out of my BR nittiness, I've decided that for 2012 to provide myself an incentive.
I will achieve Platinum Star (which I have never done) at least once in 2012 playing only 45/180 man turbos. This means that I'll needing to play at the $30 level (or I'd slit my wrists) at some point in the year.
This blog will record my progress throughout the year.
